My Mother

| As I sit | ||
| curled up | ||
| like a precious | ||
| little child | ||
| in the Blessed | ||
| Virgin | ||
| Mother’s | ||
| lap, | ||
| I lean | ||
| my head | ||
| on her | She | |
| chest. | comforts | |
| me | ||
| with her | ||
| love | ||
| prayers | She gently says, | |
| and strength. | “All | |
| things | ||
| shall be well | ||
| in the Lord.” | ||
