A sunrise can be a moment of awe-inspiring beauty; it somehow reveals the potential of a new day. At the same time, it can fill us with an awareness of our own solitude: not many people are up at dawn, at least in our culture. Nevertheless, it is when the day really begins. As the farmers’ quote goes, by dawn one is ‘burning daylight’ already.

Communication is central to love. Sometimes people communicate in conversations, where each person contributes thoughts and feelings, but at other times story-telling is more appropriate. Telling a story allows a person to reveal more about himself, even if the story is not about him. The person listening is not only able to learn about the story-teller, but is also able to express affection and love through the act of listening. Stories bring people together.
